German Startups in Japan under GEA Market Discovery Program

Six German startups came to Japan. This is for the Market Discovery program organized by GEA* from November 29 to December 6. IBoC's Business Coordinator, Masahide Azuma gave a lecture on the Japanese healthcare market and mentored three healthcare-related startups**. He is actually registered as a mentor with GEA. All these companies are actively looking to expand their business in Japan.

The program helps German startups validate the suitability of their business model in new potential target markets in Asia. GEA provides first-hand market insights, and enable startups to explore individual business opportunities within the local ecosystem and directly connect with potential customers and partners.

Participants spent productive and fruitful days under the program in Japan. At the same time, they had a lot of chance to touch with Japanese culture through the contact with local people.

The next Japan program will be held from 27th February to 24th March, 2023. Please apply those who are interested in joining by 22nd December, 2022.
